Tim is Associate Professor in American Politics in the School of Social and Political Sciences, Faculty of Arts, and chair of the political science discipline. He teaches popular electives in American politics, great power politics, and US foreign policy. He has taught at extensively in China, Ireland, the UK and the US. A graduate of the Oxford Strategic Leadership Programme (2016), Tim was Director of the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Melbourne from 2013-2017. In this role, he oversaw the largest expansion in graduate student recruitment in the Faculty’s history. He is creator and convenor of the sell-out 10 Great Books Melbourne Masterclass.
