The Universitas 21 Awards will not be offered in 2025 & 2026. An update about the Awards in 2027 (for 2028 projects) will be available in early 2027.
The purpose of the Universitas 21 awards is to recognise outstanding performance by staff of the University of Melbourne, provide development opportunities for the recipients and benefit the University through the advancement of its quality of teaching, learning, and management.

Professional Staff
The Scholarship Scheme provides an award to professional staff of the University of Melbourne at UOM levels 8, 9 or 10 of $12,500 per scholarship.

Academic Staff
The Fellowship Scheme provides an award to academic staff of the University of Melbourne at levels B and above of $12,500 per fellowship.
