Step into the 172-year history of the University of Melbourne’s Parkville campus with our Historical Walking Tour. Discover the people, events and stories that have shaped the University, brought to life through the buildings and landscapes where they unfolded.
The tour also explores the University’s contribution to society, considering both its achievements and the more difficult aspects of its history. Join us to explore the University’s past and reflect on how its history continues to shape the campus and community today.
The tour begins on the southern steps of the Old Quadrangle Building. Some walking is involved, and we will be out in the weather, so please dress appropriately.
