We have compiled a comprehensive list of journals that publish research on various aspects of teaching and learning in higher education. The first section lists many journals that focus on a specific aspect of higher education, or a particular region. Below that are discipline-specific journals that focus on teaching and learning in particular fields of study.

When deciding on where to submit, authors need to consider which journal is the best fit for the topic (by considering the types of articles published and the stated scope) as well as its reputation (by comparing impact factors and citation rates). Be aware that some academic units prioritise a particular set of journals.
