Academic Staff Orientation is a formal welcome to the University that includes valuable information and advice on making a successful start to an academic career in a research-led University. This session is tailored for Graduate Research Academic Associate (GRAA) staff and includes GRAA specific information to help with your transition to academic staff member. Orientation also provides the opportunity to meet other new GRAA starters and create networks with colleagues.

No registration is required. All new GRAAs will be registered for the Orientation by their School/Faculty GRAA Coordinator. If you haven't received an invitation to the Orientation from the CSHE by Tuesday 3 February, please contact GRAA Coordinator in your area.

Each GRAA receives a minimum of 30 hours of paid time to participate in activities designed to support their employment role and career objectives.
