Graduate Research ePortfolio (GReP)

The GReP is a place for graduate researchers (Masters by Research and PhD candidates) to find online courses, resources and communities during their research degree. It is accessible to all enrolled graduate researchers through the LMS login page.

The GReP includes the Postgraduate Essentials online course, which is designed to equip graduate researchers with academic skills, practical information and management tools essential throughout candidature and beyond. The first part of the course, 'Strategies for a Successful Start to Your Degree', is focused on getting through the early stages of candidature, such as time management, getting through confirmation and building a strong relationship with supervisors. The latter part of the course, 'Completion and Beyond', is focused on completion. The entire course is closely aligned with the UpSkills program for graduate researchers.

Accessing the GReP

Please login at the LMS login page and find GReP in the Communities tab.

If you're experiencing difficulties, please read the FAQs below for some guidance.

Why can’t I find the GReP on the LMS Communities tab?

All graduate researchers (Masters by Research and PhD Candidates) are provided with access when their enrolment is completed and they have officially commenced their research higher degree. The upload of details into the LMS is done on a weekly basis – so depending on your official start date, and the date we upload your details, it might mean you need to wait until the next upload. Get in touch or log a support request to the LMS team if you still don’t have access after more than a week since commencing your degree.

How do I know what my commencement date is?

Your commencement date is the date of your enrolment. Note that you may meet with your supervisor, or get started on your work, while your enrolment is still in process. If you’re unsure of your commencement date, contact your faculty. Faculty contacts are listed on the Graduate Research hub.
