Professor Alison Duxbury

Alison Duxbury’s major teaching and research interests are in the fields of international law, human rights law and public law. Prior to joining Melbourne Law School, Alison taught at Monash University. She has also taught at the Center for Transnational Legal Studies in London. At Melbourne Law School, Alison has taught and coordinated a wide range of subjects across all programs. She has also designed and co-designed several new subjects, including the interdisciplinary subject, Human Rights and Global Justice. Alison is the recipient of three teaching awards, including a National Citation, and is a former Associate Dean (JD).
