The Grand Final sees ten competitors who have survived their heats and semi-finals communicating their research projects in three minutes or under and with one single PowerPoint slide. Prizes are awarded at the conclusion of the presentations, with the winner heading off to the University of Queensland to represent the University in the Asia-Pacific 3MT Competition and the audience voting for the People's Choice winner at the event.

Registration to attend the Grand Final opens in June.
