Scholarship of Technology Enhanced Learning research network writing workshop series


This new workshop series supports and mentors’ participants into reflective blogging around educational technology practice and publishing educational design research. The series will explore the basics of collaborative development of Evidence and Gap Maps, Scoping Reviews and Systematic Reviews to inform teaching and learning research and curriculum development. We will explore related issues around open access publishing and the implications of the Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA) for assessing research impact and open educational practice. The series will facilitate the establishment of disciplinary and transdisciplinary teaching and learning research teams focused upon critically exploring Technology Enhanced Learning to design innovative approaches to threshold concepts and build graduate capabilities through authentic learning experiences.

Suitable for

This series is suitable for early- and mid-career academics wanting to establish collaborative learning design teams and build an educational design research portfolio.

Program schedule

A range of topics will be explored across the series dependent upon feedback from the participants. There will be an initial discussion theme for each session.
