Andrew has many years of teaching experience. He currently coordinates five Classics and Archaeology subjects and frequently invited to deliver guest lectures for other disciplines and institutions. Andrew is recognised as a leader in Object-Based Learning (OBL) and known for his innovative teaching practices. He played a key role in the development of the Arts West Building OBL laboratories. In 2015 he was recipient of the Barbara Falk Award for Teaching Excellence. Andrew’s pedagogical expertise attracts strong interest from the wider community evidenced by his involvement with the VCAA (Victorian Curriculum Assessment Authority) and HTAV (History Teachers Association of Victoria).
