This two part series is open to both Staff and students at the University of Melbourne.

The first of this two-part workshop looks at how to get your stories accepted for publication by print media and its digital counterparts. In the first session, your ideas will be refined and developed and the best way to pitch your story will be explored. The second half of the workshop offers the opportunity for you to pitch your idea for stories to representatives of the print/online industry and to receive constructive feedback.

Please note, you must register separately for the Pitching to Newspapers/Magazines/Online Publishers – Pitching Session. Registrants must attend the first session to attend the second.
