Each year, staff from across the Australian University sector are recognised for their outstanding contributions to student learning and to the student experience. Universities are invited to nominate staff and programs for various award types, and within specified categories. These national awards were coordinated by the Office for Learning and Teaching which has now closed. Information on the Australian Awards for University Teaching and grants and fellowships awarded through the Office for Learning and Teaching is now available on the Department of Education and Training website.
Many staff and programs from The University of Melbourne have been recognised by national awards for excellence. If you would like to be considered for a national nomination, you must first make an application via The University of Melbourne Excellence Awards process.
