Documentaries and Exhibitions
Room G01, Elisabeth Murdoch Building (Building 134), Parkville CampusMap
Once written off as all but dead, the digital world has breathed new life into the world of documentaries. This workshop will prepare you for converting aspects of your research into visually-based, short non-fiction for the small (and often very small) screen.
While a relatively rare opportunity, an exhibition in a major public institution can see aspects of your research being communicated to vast numbers of people. This workshop takes a look at working collaboratively to turn a day at the thesis into a night at the museum.
This is a "brown bag lunch" session presented by Mr Simon Clews, Director, Melbourne Engagement Lab, Melbourne Centre for the Study of Higher Education
Registration is essential and will open approximately three weeks before the workshop. Please sign up to the Melbourne Engagement Lab Expressions of Interest List to be notified when registrations open.
Note that all Melbourne Engagement Lab programs are free and open for staff and graduate researchers at the University of Melbourne only.
