This research and policy seminar series is open to the public.
Designed to stimulate discussion on higher education, topics range across the theory and history of universities, public policy issues, leadership and management, and improving teaching and learning.
The series is designed to push boundaries in research, policy and practice, to keep abreast of global developments and comparisons in higher education, and to move ahead of impending changes while at the same time providing space for reflection on longer term and fundamental issues.
The seminars draw on a range of presenters from inside and outside the university, including international visitors.
Seminars vary in style from paper presentations on current research and scholarship, to panels and debates. The seminar format is a crisp presentation followed by ample time for discussion among those present, which is often a highlight.
