Mark's work in International Education is well recognised and highly regarded across universities, government and the not-for-profit sector. He is an accomplished leader, strategic thinker and educator, with global experience and perspective.
He has coordinated the development of national initiatives such as the Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development Program, the Prime Minister's Australian Asian Endeavour Awards and has more recently served as a Director of the New Colombo Plan.
Mark served at the Embassy of Australia in Washington DC as the Australian government Education Counsellor for North America (2010 – 2013). He was also Executive Director of the Australian-American Fulbright Commission (2000 – 2009).
He has worked in higher education, vocational training and schools in Australia and internationally. Mark has postgraduate qualifications in education and not-for-profit management and has conducted research into personal development related to international experiences.
